JK at E-Prescribing Conference and Celebrating Downtown Salem Award

This last Tuesday, John Kerry spoke at the Boston conference on e-prescription. The video, shot by kvh, is frontpaged right now in the News Video block, but its permanent home is here:

Yesterday, Kerry spoke in Salem, celebrating the award that city just received as one of the best neighborhoods in America. Watch kvh's video here:

Senator Kerry included the idea of e-prescription as part of his healthcare plan when he ran for the presidency in 2004 and has continued to be an ardent supporter of this and other movements toward more efficiency (which would cut costs enormously) in our healthcare system.

The Salem video shows JK having a great time on a beautiful day speaking playfully to a happy crowd and showing his love of history (Nathaniel Hawthorne) while getting some jabs in at his own chosen profession (suggesting that a cousin of Billy Bulger might currently be enjoying the job Hawthorne lost because of partisan politics!)
